Dan Garneau is a licensed architect and photographer who has been awarded more than 20 times for his work. After spending 25 years in Chicago, Dan lived in San Francisco for two years before moving to his current home in Des Moines, Iowa, in 2016, where he lives with his wife and daughter.
Dan developed a love for travel after spending his senior year of college studying architecture abroad in Versailles, France, and has visited countries throughout Europe, Africa, and Central America. Back home in the United States, Dan visits the National Park System any chance he gets, and is the owner of Write Light Photography, through which he does everything from landscapes, corporate headshots, aerial photography, real estate and architecture, to stock photography and videography.
Dan makes photos and videos via his Canon EOS R5 and Mavic 2 Pro, and is a Part 107 licensed UAV pilot.
